Flawless Stride: | Rydel can move through any sort of terrain that slows movement (such as rubble, undergrowth, overgrown areas, natural thorns, briars and similar terrain) at his normal movement speed and without taking damage or suffering any other impairment. He may also run and charge over difficult terrain that normally slows movement or allies or neutral characters blocking his path. This ability enables him to run down steep stairs, leap down from a balcony and tumble over tables to get to his destination. |
Swift Stealth: | Rydel doesnt take penalties on Hide and Move Silently checks when moving up to his normal speed, and only takes a -10 on such checks when running. |
As you enter the house you see a man dressed in all black leather with a black wool hat and a black face mask over his face and a pair of googles over his eyes. He appears to have been looking for something and startles as you enter the room.
Rydel is a charismatic and witty typical “roguish” character. He is well spoken and a little egotistical. Hes just in the PC's house on a job, nothing more nothing less, he holds no grudge against the PC's hes just working for money. If the PC's act friendly and question him he'll be happy to tell them what hes doing there and who sent him. The PC's could even buy his loyalty and pay him to lead them back to his original customer the following day when he has a scheduled rendezvous. If the PC's chase after him he'll throw either a smoke stick, tanglefoot bag or caltrops and then attempt to dive out the closest window and slow fall to saftey to run away. If captured after combat he will bargain the rendezvous point location (but not his help) for his freedom.
